Micah 6:1-8 is a series of 4 short speeches to make this point: God's righteous acts require from us an ordinary faithfulness, not spiritual flashiness!

• Vs1-2: Micah Speaking - Micah tells the people that God is bringing an indictment, charges of sin against them.
• Vs3-5: Lord Speaking - The Lord asks the people to give account for what he has done to deserved to be forsaken in vain pursuit of fake gods. Then the Lord reminds the people of 4 righteous acts he has done for his people.
• Vs6-7: The People Speaking - With one voice, the people respond asking what show of spirituality God wants from them.
• Vs8: Micah Speaking: Micah responds that what God requires is not spiritual flashiness, but ordinary faithfulness. What God requires is a daily following after Jesus in justice, kindness, and walking humbly with God.
