Our Mission

New Creation Church invites Sarasota to connect, belong, thrive and celebrate as new creations in Christ.

Our Strategy

“If anyone is in Christ, he [there] is new creation. The old has gone, the new has come.” – 2 Cor 5:17
  1. Connect: We will surprise people with the hospitality of God. Through our individual interactions and through intentional parties with our neighbors, we invite people to connect to God and to his people.
  2. Belong: As a family around a table, there is a seat for everyone to be welcomed, to belong, and to be loved. We will ensure people belong amongst us and we will partner with organizations around Sarasota that invite belonging to the vulnerable and hurting around us.
  3. Thrive: We will thrive as Sarasota thrives. We will facilitate spaces where people can experience gospel transformation in community and for the good of the community. And as we thrive in the gospel, we will plant more churches to reach all of Sarasota with the hope of the gospel.
  4. Celebrate: The Bible’s main picture of the New Creation is one of a party. We will celebrate God’s work in our church and we will celebrate with Sarasota.

Under the oversight of a temporary group of elders from our sending church, New Creation Church is putting together a leadership team committed living for, longing for, and laboring for the coming of the new creation in Christ.
